Eco Prefab 2: A visitor information centre and gallery pavilion designed to be disassembled, moved and reassembled on other sites.

This project is a development of the precast concrete construction system we developed for the Macarthur Gardens Education and Display Suite in NSW. Like its predecessor, this building is temporary, moveable, re-erectable and the precast concrete elements are all derived from three concrete forms.

The challenge was to adapt the system to a quite context (temperature range, orientation, prevailing winds, site conditions and so on), accommodate new requirements whilst developing and testing the system’s robustness and adaptability.
